Exam Results and Destination data

Heathermount School is delighted to announce some excellent results by our Key Stage 4 students following the release of the 2023 GCSE results.  The students have worked incredibly hard to achieve a range of Level 1, Level 2 and GCSE qualifications over the past year.

We are very proud of all our pupils but particular mention should be made of Jonny with Grade 5's in Maths and Science and Grade 6's in English and History.  Also to Tom, who managed to secure the Grade 4's he needed in Science and Maths in order to access a Level 3 course at college.

"We are extremely proud of the achievements of our students at Key Stage 3.  Their hard work has clearly paid dividends with some excellent results and qualifications obtained.  We would like to wish the students who are transitioning to college the best of luck in their new settings".  David Stewart, Headteacher.

Destinations

After receiving their GCSE results and vocational qualifications at the end of the 2022/23 academic year all of our students secured a placement in education and 100% were able to access their first-choice college/apprenticeship.  The number of children going on to access courses at Level 2 or above was superb.  Where students had already completed Level 2 qualifications in school, they moved on to access Level 3 qualifications.
