"Strong leadership by the headteacher, ably supported by other leaders, governors and the Disabilities Trust, has successfully improved provision and outcomes for students since the previous inspection."

Following an Ofsted inspection in January 2015, Heathermount was judged to be a 'good' school. The significant strides we made in building an educational provision that not only has high academic aspirations for all our students but also individually caters for each student's social, emotional and behavioural needs arising from their autism, were validated by this report. However, the school will not rest and in order to continue our journey to becoming an outstanding school the Senior Leadership Team - consisting of Ruth Bovill (Headteacher), Ben Robinson (Deputy Headteacher) and Alyce McCourt (Educational Psychologist) - will continue to work with our School Improvement Partner, Phil Silvester,  CBE. Phil has extensive experience working at the highest levels in the UK education system and his career is punctuated with widespread evidence of high quality and enduring impacts.

Please see below for our latest inspection report. We have also provided a link to the Ofsted website and Parent View.
