Oak class café reopens!

Oak class were very excited to reopen their café at school and staff really enjoyed making purchases.
There was a drop-in café in the classroom for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cake (gluten-free option available) and sausage rolls and a popular delivery service was also running.

The students practised their speech, language and communication skills, experienced handling money and learnt about the importance of personal hygiene when working with food. They were all extremely polite to customers.
At the end of the day, they enjoyed some cake for all their efforts!
Staff were charged a small fee for items and all the proceeds of the sale were donated to Children in Need.
