Alpaca visit

Close up of a student with his arm round one of the alpacas

Pupils and staff were treated to a truly special experience this week as three friendly alpacas paid a visit to school, an event that proved to be a huge success!

Students were thrilled to have the opportunity to get up close to the alpacas to feed them, stroke them and even enjoy a cuddle.  Alpacas are normally quite aloof but George, Fin and Truffle were very happy to meet our students.  The experience brought plenty of smiles and laughter.

The visit also sparked curiosity, as students asked a wide range of thoughtful questions, showing genuine interest in learning more about these intelligent herd animals from South America.
