Bletchley Park visit

Neptune Class and Saturn Class enjoyed an enriching trip to Bletchley Park. The students had a wonderful day exploring one of Britain's most important historic sites and learning about the vital role it played during the Second World War.

During the visit, students toured the historic mansion and explored the museum, where they discovered fascinating exhibits about codebreaking, intelligence work, and the people who helped shorten the war through their efforts. The students were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the day, asking questions and showing interest in the history of the site.

One of the highlights of the visit was taking part in an interactive activity where students learnt how to decipher coded messages using an Enigma machine. This hands-on experience gave them an insight into the challenges faced by wartime codebreakers and helped bring history to life. Many students were excited to learn that the Enigma machine featured in The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the famous mathematician and codebreaker Alan Turing.

The trip provided valuable learning opportunities while inspiring curiosity about history, mathematics, and technology. We were extremely proud of the excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and engagement shown by all the students throughout the day.
