A winning display!

Students stood in front of their artwork holding their trophy and prize

A group of pupils from Elm Class and Secondary recently attended a creative workshop at Busy Buttons Windsor, where they made an entry for the children's display at the Windsor Flower Show.  The theme this year was Mycelium: the Hidden Threads of Magic.

We are delighted to share that, out of ten participating schools, Heathermount's entry was chosen as the overall winner. The judging was carried out anonymously, with the judges having no knowledge of which school had created each display, making this a truly well-deserved achievement based solely on the quality and creativity of the work. The pupils and their families were invited to Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 11th July to receive the Challenge Cup from representatives of Ascot Racecourse. They also enjoyed a wonderful day at the races with their families as part of the celebrations.

We are incredibly proud of the children, who created their award-winning display entirely independently, without any adult assistance. Their creativity, teamwork, and dedication made this a fantastic achievement for Heathermount.
