It has been another busy and engaging term in PSHE across the school, with students exploring a range of important topics that support their personal development, wellbeing, and understanding of the world around them.

Elm Class have been learning about the Rule of Law, helping them to understand why rules are important in keeping everyone safe and ensuring fairness. As part of their learning, they enjoyed a visit to a local café where they developed their independence by ordering food and drinks, practised road safety skills in the community, and built their communication and social skills in a real-life setting.

Beech Class have been exploring the themes of consent and healthy lifestyles. Through discussions and practical activities, pupils have been learning about respecting personal boundaries, making healthy choices, and understanding how to look after both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Mars Class have been learning about different religious values, developing respect and appreciation for a range of beliefs and traditions. They have also explored the risks associated with smoking and vaping, helping them to make informed and healthy choices for the future.

Mercury Class have focused on prejudice, discrimination, and inclusion. Students have discussed the importance of treating everyone with kindness and respect, celebrating diversity, and understanding how they can help create an inclusive community where everyone feels valued.

Saturn and Neptune Classes have been learning about online safety and equality in Britain. Students have developed their understanding of how to stay safe online, make responsible choices when using technology, and appreciate the importance of equality, fairness, and respect within modern British society.

Pluto and Jupiter Classes have explored rights and responsibilities, helping students to understand both their own rights and the responsibilities they have towards others. They have also learnt about recognising abuse and violence, including how to identify unsafe situations, the importance of speaking to trusted adults, and knowing where to seek help and support.

We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their thoughtful participation and enthusiasm throughout this term's PSHE lessons. These experiences continue to equip them with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to stay safe, make positive choices, and become respectful, responsible members of their communities.
