  • WWII Workshop - VE Day Celebrations

    Students took part in a World War 2 workshop designed to give a real insight into the lives of soldiers, through drama, story telling and exploring objects. It also linked to exploring the lives of others and shone a light on the development of resilience and courage in the face of things that can frighten and worry us.

  • Surfing reward trip

    Students from across secondary enjoyed a gold reward trip to “The Wave” in Bristol, the only man-made surfing lake in the UK. Wrestling into and out of wetsuits was, by far, the biggest challenge of the day but everyone had an amazing time learning to surf.  It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces. The session was followed by a well deserved relaxing lunch and a hot chocolate with all the trimmings!

  • Football with The Rise

    Students were excited to play football with students from The Rise, a specialist centre for pupils with autistic spectrum conditions, in Bracknell.  This visit provided a valuable opportunity for them to practice their skills ahead of the tournament coming up later this week.   The two school teams played each other and then enjoyed mixing players in an inclusive match.

  • Red Nose Day

    Students and staff have enjoyed wearing red today and raising money for Comic Relief.   Elm Class held a bake sale and worked hard making and decorating cakes to sell.  Thank you to everyone who supported their fundraising and bought the delicious cakes and cookies.

    ** Update ** Elm class have now added up all the money they raised.  In total, they made a fantastic £152 (and six pence!).  Well done Elm.  Great work.
