Tom told us a little about his journey into poetry and then gave a workshop on how to write our own poems. Students loved hearing about Tom's experiences, from his childhood involvement in rap battles through to his YouTube breakthrough. Tom gave some fantastic tips about how to go about writing poetry - this was Jamie's imaginative comic poem:

In a world of fresh air 

a flying pear hits my sisters hair
