Science at Brooklands Museum

Students trying out the gliders they made at Brooklands

Oak Class thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Brooklands museum.  They have been learning about everyday materials in science and the students were able to see how different materials can be used to make objects that they see every day.  See our Science at Brooklands Museum gallery for more pictures.

During the day the class attended a workshop where they made loopy gliders that they tested at the end.

The class were also lucky enough to board some of the airplanes that are at the museum, including Concorde, where they decided their flight would take them to Hawaii.

They were also really interested in seeing all the different buses throughout the years in the bus museum. They particularly enjoyed going upstairs on the double deckers!
