Singing at the Junior Music Festival
Oak Class took to the stage of the Hexagon Theatre Reading, in a spectacular celebration of music, joining nearly 400 children from other local schools in the Junior Music Festival. This year’s theme, A Night at the Movies, brought the magic of cinema to life through song, energy, and an unforgettable live performance.
After weeks of dedicated rehearsals, Oak Class confidently performed 14 songs, each inspired by popular films both classic and contemporary. Among the many highlights, Oak Class especially enjoyed singing “You've Never Had Chocolate Like This” from Wonka and “Revolting Children” from Matilda the Musical. Both songs were bursting with character and attitude—perfect choices for young voices ready to have fun and express themselves.
Congratulations to Oak Class for their hard work, enthusiasm, and brilliant performance. It was truly a night to remember!
