Heatherfest Celebration

Our Secondary Leavers who are going on to secondary education

Our annual end-of-year event at Heathermount School was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the school’s achievements and, most importantly, to recognise the progress and accomplishments of our students.

We spent the day outside in the sunshine in our fabulous grounds with students and their families, enjoying fairground stalls and the fantastic displays created by each class on a different country before a BBQ lunch and an awards ceremony.

It has been an exceptional year for Heathermount school.  We have been so proud to receive:

  • Ofsted: Outstanding
  • National Autistic Society: Advanced Autism Specialist Provider Award
  • Leading Parent Partnership Award
  • Wellbeing Award for Schools
  • Leaders in Safeguarding: Gold Award

But, the greatest measure of success lies in the progress made by our students—both academically and in developing the social and life skills needed for their futures.

During the event, we proudly presented a number of awards to students, including our Outstanding Achievement Awards. We marked the transition of some of our Primary students who will be joining Secondary next year and also said farewell to those Secondary students who are leaving us this year to move on to further education - they have impressed us so much with how far they have come.  They leave with our congratulations and very best wishes for the next stage in their journey - we can't wait to hear what they go on to do!
