Mother's Day ducks
|
Earth Class have been working on their creative ASDAN programme, where the students decided as a group to take on a project making Mother’s Day gifts. They chose to create decoupage wooden ducks, and each student designed and decorated their own. |
The students carefully prepared their ducks by painting them white before selecting coloured tissue paper to decorate them. They showed great creativity and thought in their designs, taking time to ensure each piece was unique.
Once the ducks were decorated, the students also had the opportunity to try using Shrink-Its. They coloured in an A5 design, which was then placed in the oven and shrunk down to the size of a 2p coin – an exciting process that everyone really enjoyed!
All the students worked incredibly hard on their projects and were very proud of their finished ducks. The final results were fantastic, and the gifts made for a thoughtful and personal Mother’s Day surprise.
