School Council
Student Voice
At Heathermount School, our students play an active role in their education, community, and environment. To support this, we have a Primary and Secondary School Council who represent their peers’ views, ideas, and concerns. The student voice is an essential tool to help develop the school.
Aims of the School Council

To uphold the values of the school (Positive, respect, resilience, independence, courage and responsible)

To gather student views and present them at School Council meetings which will be shared with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

To help identify areas in which improvements can be made to benefit the school

To contribute to the curriculum

To help raise issues that are of concern such as bullying
- To develop leadership and social skills

Collected food for our local foodbank

Participated in interviews of Senior Leaders
